Perfect for those of you who long to learn about Mongolia and Mongolians but aren't sure how to begin or for those  who long to become part of this, the oldest unbroken horse culture on the planet.
For those of you who just want to get away, get back to something simple and spend your time with hundreds and hundreds of horses and feel the ground beneath your feet....Come to our beautiful base camp on the edge of  Terelj National Park and stay by the month!
Ride as much or as little as you like with folks who are coming out to ride with us on day rides  & if you want to join an organized trek  you will get a discount!

Hang out with the horses or in your own ger. Breakfast and lunch are on you, but join the family for dinner!
We'll take you to Nalaikh or Ulaanbaatar once a week for groceries & necessities and if you'd like to arrange transport more often , we can do that too!

Become part of the family  Our camp is basic and simple and very laid back but with full amenities and  lots of wonderful sights and locations near by.

Day rides, long hikes, time to curl up in your ger and read and a lot  of time up close and personal with our 80+ horses, & 40 or so cows.  Situated right on the beautiful Tuul river you will enjoy  gentle breezes and lounging by the river make up your perfect stay at Khot Ail.

If you want to venture farther we can arrange trips to the famed 13th Century Village or the enormous Chinggis Khaan Statue & Museum complex or bundle you up with camping supplies and transport you to your very own private camping spot and come and collect you the following day (or whenever you're ready to come back!)  

​It's a safe, supportive atmosphere with lots going on, both at our camp and nearby camps although usually it is quiet throughout the week.

Khot Ail, known by the locals as Saraa's Ger Camp has been successfully  hosting international visitors for over 20 years and we are excited to undertake a brand new phase and get to know you on one of our Long Term Stays.
